A call to live out a faith through active ministry based in love led Pastor Karin O’Donnell to Mt. Hebron Lutheran church in Hildebran. She retired from education and began seminary in Gettysburg in 2015. Pastor Karin came to Mt. Hebron in July of 2021 with her husband Mick, retired from the USAF. They have 3 grown daughters, Kristin, Keri, and Becky, 5 grandchildren and 2 great0grandchildren. She is passionate about social ministry and leading the church out into the community to preach the Gospel.

Jonathan D. Gouge
Music and Media Director
Jonathan has been the Music Director of Mt. Hebron Lutheran Church on two occasions, beginning in 2003-2009 and returning to serve in 2014 to the present time. Jonathan has a deep passion for Music Ministry, Leading the Adult Choir and Handbell Choir, as well as a more recent call in 2021 to the Lay Preaching Ministry. Jonathan serves in Ministry with his wife, Angela who is the Church Painist, and his daughter, Sarah.

Mrs. Kathie Phillips has been working for Mt. Hebron since August 15, 2016 as our Administrative Assistant. Kathie was raised in Hildebran and went to First Baptist Hildebran where she came to know and accept her Lord and Savior when she was 16. She has an Associate Applied Science Degree in Accounting which she received in May of 1989 from Catawba Valley Community College. She is married to Harold Phillips and they have three beautiful young adults: Jordan, Justin and Kallie. They live in Taylorsville, NC.
